Frugal Scrapbooking with Ladies Belts

Frugal Scrapbooking
Okay here is my frugal scrapbooking tip for today!
I have purchased SEVERAL of these ladies belts.  I purchased this one for $.99 from my local Goodwill Store.  It has approximately 46 removable medallions.
Here are what the medallions look like once they are removed from the belt:
Sorry about the glare, but it's raining here and I had to use the flash on my boyfriends camera (yeah this is me still crying over my stolen camera) at any rate, the holes in this fit almost all brads! I have found these belts in many different styles, with many different stamped images on the medallions! These medallions are held onto  the belt by elastic band, and the hardest part is getting them off the elastic.  On some of them you can just pull them off, but on others I have had to cut the elastic off  REALLY close to the crimped edge.  The medallions are about the size of a quarter.  If I had to buy these in a scrapbook store I would EASY pay over $1.00 for two of three of these! So there you go that's my tip of the day!  If you find a few great belts like this and you want to swap shapes/stamped images with me just let me know.  Love Penny
